HOW THE GUARANTEE WORKS
Pursuant to art. 128 et seq. Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005, the warranty reserved exclusively for end users is 2 years, while for purchases made by professionals companies with VAT registration number, the rules laid down in the Civil Code apply and the warranty lasts 12 months.
For the warranty to be valid, the product must have been used correctly, in compliance with its intended use and with the provisions of the enclosed documentation; it can only be exercised if the original shipping documents are in your possession. Parts subject to wear and tear are exempt from warranty.
The guarantee and/or replacement of products shall be void in cases where:
" The products have been installed or assembled by unqualified staff;
"The products have not been used according to the parameters established by the manufacturer;
"The products are tampered
" The products are not intact
"The products do not bear the warranty label with the serial number;
" The products are missing their original packaging, accessories and manuals;
" The products have been sent with approximate packaging and precautions have not been taken to prevent one or more parts from bumping into each other and causing defects;
" The original packaging is damaged and cannot be used to resell the goods contained inside;
" The products have been subjected to electrical discharges and voltages that do not comply with the characteristics of the product as described in the manual or on the reference label;
" The products have undergone unauthorised modifications and/or do not comply with the manufacturer's specifications;
" The faults or defects have been caused by extraneous parts and/or resulting from conflict with additional components within the same package;
" The products are electrical spare parts already installed.
The products must be delivered in their original packaging only; faulty or improper packaging will invalidate the warranty conditions. Each product must be shipped as it was originally, complete with any spare parts components (screws, manuals, stickers, etc.) and the original shipping documents.
The lack of the kit is equivalent to an incomplete product, therefore the product cannot be replaced. In order to limit possible damage to the original packaging we recommend, whenever possible, to put it in a second box; in all cases the affixing of labels or adhesive tapes directly on the original product packaging should be avoided.
Any return not previously authorised will be absolutely rejected and not accepted.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The final consumer, in accordance with Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005, has the right to withdraw from any distance contract without penalty and without specifying the reason within and no later than 14 working days from receipt of the goods. This right can be exercised only by those who purchase as natural persons for personal purposes not related to their work. The right of withdrawal is exercised, in accordance with the provisions of Article 73, paragraph 5 of Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005, by sending, within the deadline, a registered letter with return receipt addressed to Newtech Automotive s.r.l. Via Spagna 25 56032 z.i. Cascine di Buti (PI) Italy . After receiving the communication, we will contact the customer to inform him of the procedures to ship back the goods.
As provided for by art. 67 paragraph 3, the product is returned to the sender at the consumer’s expense. No refunds will be made if the goods are not intact, in their original box or wrapping with adequate external packaging, if they have been used or altered, if the original accessories and documentation are missing and if they are not provided with the original shipping documents.
We do not accept returns that have not been agreed upon.
Shipment is the responsibility of the customer until receipt in our warehouse.
If you have received your item and you believe it to be damaged or defective, please notify us immediately writing an email to [email protected] o calling us. If your item is damaged or has missing parts, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt, otherwise we will not be able to process any returns or refunds. We strongly advise you to check your order carefully on receipt and, if possible, before removing it from any packaging.
We will not be able to consider any claims for damaged goods if the parts have been assembled or used.
If your item is faulty or damaged, we will ask you to send it to us for inspection and testing. We will also let you know how to proceed with this shipment.
If the item you receive does not match our description or if we have supplied you an incorrect item, please contact us in writing within 48 hours of receiving the item. We will ask you to return the item to us before to assure a replacement and we will indicate how this procedure can be done.
